In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 25.4m) defined by earthen bank (H 0.85m) to W and N; scarp to E. Enclosure to SE and S destroyed due to quarrying; quarry disused and overgrown. According to Hartnett (1939, 285), entrance to NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
