In rough grazing land. Circular area (diam. 24m) enclosed by partially overgrown earthen bank (int. H 0.5m). Stream re-routed in channel dug on line of fosse along N half of enclosure; material from channel dumped on bank in parts. Entrance to SW (Hartnett 1939, 186).
