In pasture, above sharp fall of ground to N and E. Subrectangular area (56m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (max. int. H 1.25m) to S, E and W; scarp to N. Interior slopes gently down to N; possible souterrain (CO061-017003-) in N half; S half bisected by scarp which crosses interior on E-W axis. According to Hartnett (1939, 192), enclosure and field in which it stands both known as 'kill'. O Nualláin (1988, 251) was informed by landowner 'that this had been used as a burial place'. Appears to form E half of possible early ecclesiastical enclosure (9204).
