What is recorded here

In pasture, in area of outcropping rock on a southern extension of the Boggeragh Mountains. This consists of two uprights with their long axes in line (total length 1.55m), aligned N-S and leaning to W. They stand 0.22m apart and would be 0.6-0.8m H if erect. A number of large slabs lie beside them to the W, some of which appear to have been dumped there. An anomalous stone group (CO060-008----) lies 100m to the ESE and another (CO060-200----) lies 150m to the SW. A wedge tomb (CO060-007---) lies c. 250m to the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). Date of upload: 22 December 2009
