In pasture. Circular raised area (diam. 36m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.45m). Band of darker grass surrounding bank indicates evidence for external fosse. No visible surface trace of 'outer bank....repaired by modern fencing' recorded by Hartnett (1939, 51). Surrounding field boundaries removed.
