What is recorded here

In rough grazing on S side of rock outcrop. Rectangular stone-lined chamber (L 9.6m; Wth 1.26m; H 1.32m; long axis NNE-SSW); roofed with lintels. Midway along SE wall is opening to smaller chamber (L 3.7m; Wth 1.1m; H 1.33m) at right angles to main chamber. Original entrance (now blocked) at N side of SE end of smaller chamber. Present access through displaced lintel in main chamber; several other lintels exposed on surface. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
