In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, above sharp fall to stream. Circular area (25m NE-SW) defined by scarp NNE->ESE; earthen bank (H 1.4m) ESE->W; levelled bank survives as undulation W->N. Bank topped by stone wall S->W; entrance (Wth 3.6m) to S.
