On tract of boggy ground on E side of Foherish River basin. Monument is badly damaged; early accounts indicate wedge-shaped gallery (L c. 2m; Wth c. 1m at W end narrowing to c. 0.8m to E) aligned E-W, having septal stone at W end preceded by short portico. Gallery was covered by single roofstone, now displaced. (de Valera and O Nualláin 1982, 12-3, Co. 16) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
