In rough grazing land, on NNW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (33m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by earthen bank (max. int. H 2m), best preserved N->SW. External fosse (D 0.6m), deepened along SW quadrant to form drain. Entrance (Wth 2m) to N. Remains of cultivation ridges cross interior on N-S axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
