What is recorded here

In pasture, on S-facing slope, overlooking Dangansallagh River. Circular area (32m N-S; 30m E-W) raised 1.5m above surrounding ground level. Interior enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m); external fosse survives as slight depression SSE->E, except to SW (D 0.6m) where it is waterlogged. Entrance (Wth 2.4m) to SE. Stone (1.4m x 0.5m; H 0.5m) at centre of interior in recumbent position. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
