On flat shoulder at end of rocky ridge, on NE-facing slope overlooking Laney River valley to E. Row of three stones, aligned NNE-SSW, 5.6m in overall length. NE stone leans to W and is 0.9m L, 0.6m T and 1.2m H. Next stone, 1.45m to SW, leans to E and is 1m L, 0.3m T and 1.45m H. SW stone, 1.65m from last, is considerably out of line with previous pair. It is 0.7m L, 0.15m T and 0.4m H; its top may be broken. (O Nualláin 1988, 233, no. 18) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
