In 1986 a previously unrecorded series of low stones, set into the ground but not deeply embedded, was recorded immediately to the SE of a cairn (CO059-023007-). This cairn is part of a complex of prehistoric monuments comprising a five-stone circle (CO059-023002-), a radial stone cairn (CO059-023003-), two stone pairs (CO059-023001-, CO059-023006-) and three cairns (CO059-023004-, CO059-023005-, CO059-023007-). The stones were almost all aligned E-W. They were pointed out by a local man who thought them to be a stone circle. The stones did not comprise a stone circle but were considered to possibly mark burials 'of a late date'. The stones could not be located during a subsequent visit in 1994.
