According to Kelly (1897, 104), Windele recorded on 'Mount Kippoch' a monument in the coarse grass and heather 'which looks as though it may have been a cromleac, but there remains no vestige of a table stone'. Remains consisted of six stones standing in three distinct lines; two of the central ones were about four feet in height and three feet broad; the other stones are deeply sunk in ground' protruding c. 18ins; sockets of three others visible at south side (ibid.). Exact location not known.
