In a disused farmyard at the S side of an archaeological complex associated with St Gobnet (CO058-034001- to CO058-034011-). The site consists of two associated, roofless, derelict, well constructed, stone-built structures. It is believed that they were built about 1817 as part of the Colthurst estate (report by C. Kelleher, Archaeologist, SMR file). According to local tradition, the main building was used as a soup kitchen/porridge house during the Great Famine. A separate, similarly built, derelict and roofless, single story high structure, situated c. 3m to the W, is believed locally to have been a stable.
