Located c. 60m S of Ballyvourney graveyard (CO058-037009-). Well marks final station in St Gobnait's pilgrimage (Harbison 1991a, 134), where 'water is taken, and a series of Paters, Aves and Glorias are said'. Approached by gravel path flanked by iron railings; lighting has been installed about well. Surrounded by drystone walling which is corbelled inwards and roofed by a lintel; opening faces S and is approached down a series of stone steps. Votive offerings surround well and cups hang from a rack. Well is built into slope and top surface has been recently paved.
