In pasture on E-facing slope. Circular area (30.8m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by inner stone-built bank on earthen base (H 1.3m); shallow intervening fosse; outer bank (H 1.4m), very broad based, earthen faced with stone; traces of outer fosse. Inner bank unique to area, faced internally with small lumps of sandstone, externally with blocks larger than 0.9m x 1.2m. Gap in banks to E. Interior slopes down gently to E.
