Found in pasture, on the E side of a townland boundary fence between Ballyrobert and Rathcobane. This stone (H c. 1.3m; 0.33m x 0.26m) lay a short distance to the SW of the position indicated on the 1901 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps. The weathered inscription was interpreted by Macalister (1945, 70, no. 65) as LOGA MAQI SDANBI. He also noted that one James Ward has written his name in ogham on the other edge of the same face. According to Barry (1886, 485) the stone was removed from its socket in 1885 and 'two or three fragments of "crockery", each two or three inches square' were found at it's base. In 1986, subsequent to a survey visit, the stone was moved to the grounds of Scoil an Easpaig O Briain, Bartlemy (CO044-111----). (Power et al. 1994, no. 4239)
