Discovered in the early 1980s when a souterrain uncovered nearby (CO050-100002-) was being surveyed. The inscription is cut along the edge of a lintel. Four letters were visible and read as either QUTQ OR NUVN (pers. comm. J.P. McCarthy). The souterrain was subsequently closed and the ogham stone remains in position. (Power et al. 1997, no. 7975)
