In pasture, overlooking Dripsey River valley to SW. Hachured as circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; open at SW side on 1904 and 1939 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; Hartnett (1939, 177) records bank 'erased to the W and SW', with 'traces of an outward fosse and second rampart'. Standing stone (CO050-054002-) associated with enclosure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
