In pasture, on SW-facing slope, short distance to S of stream. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map and as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 35m) on 1904 and 1939 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; slight rise visible in area of site. According to Hartnett (1939, 178), 'levelled about 1922, but the track is still visible.... The approximate diameter is 93 feet'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
