Depicted as hachured mound and named 'Stone Circle' on 1904 and 1940 OS 6-inch maps. In forestry, c. 70m to S of circular enclosure (CO049-015----) and c. 90m to N of fulacht fiadh (CO049-016001-) and possible standing stone (CO049-016002-). 'Low bank enclosing an area about 8m in diameter. Nature uncertain' (O Nualláin 1984a, 47). Not located due to forestry. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
