According to Broker (1937, 28), 'A couple of feet from it [standing stone 6801], were 6 or 7 smaller stones arranged in circle. Gallán 2 feet outside circle. Smaller stones were removed by James Kelliher in 1915 when ploughing. Smaller stones were like flags 2 feet under and 2 feet over the ground. Circle was 7 or 8 feet in diameter'. No visible surface trace.
