On small projecting spur on W-facing hillside. Subcircular area (14m N-S; 12.5m E-W) enclosed by wall of contiguous stones (H 0.35m) N->SE; roughly coursed stone wall (H 1.1m) SE->N. Possible entrance to W. Remains of cultivation ridges cross interior on E-W axis. Wedge tomb (6385) c. 150m to NNW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
