In reclaimed pasture, beside well (now drained). Grass-covered spread of burnt material; according to local information, mound formerly c. 1m high. Possibly one of the six fulachta fiadh (CO048-117----, CO048-118----, CO048-119----, CO048-120----, CO048-121----) recorded by Broker (1937, 14), on John Harrington's farm; the others remain unlocated. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
