In pasture, on break in E-facing slope. Depicted as circular raised areadefined by double set of hachures (diam. c. 20m) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OSmaps. Levelled; slight curve in field fence to N of site; no visiblesurface trace of enclosure. Possible souterrain (8990) in interior.According to landowner, levelled c. 1984. Ringfort (8161) 50m to W inadjoining field. Broker (1937, 46) describes them both as of 'average size'with 'double fence'.
