What is recorded here

In rough grazing land, on NE-facing slope, on SW side of stream valley. Heavily overgrown, circular area (c. 36m NW-SE) defined by two earthen banks (H c. 1.25m) with intervening fosse (Wth 4m). Entrance (Wth 3.5m) to NE; each side of inner bank littered with loose stones; disused trackway runs down slope from entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
