In pasture, on break in E-facing slope. Depicted as irregularly shaped field (c. 40m x c. 40m) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Site lies to rear of bungalow; area used as garden and farmyard. According to local tradition, fort once stood here. Broker (1937, 43) recorded 'fort 1/4 acre, fence partially levelled' on this farm.
