In pasture, on break in NE-facing slope. Depicted as roughly circular field, with limekiln built into E side, on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by low rise (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m). Locally known as fort. Possible souterrain (CO048-008002-) in interior. According to Broker(1937, 43) 'fort 1/4 acre, levelled completely about 1921'.
