In pasture, on natural knoll on SE-facing slope; stream c. 70m to SE; farm track skirts site to N. Roughly circular area (27m N-S; 31.8m E-W) enclosed by inner bank (H 0.2m), surviving best WSW->NE; fosse S->NE; outer bank (int. H 0.9m) SW->NW, terrace NE->SSW; outer fosse (D 0.5m) SW->WNW, scarp NE->SSW; to the E is a further level terrace before breaking downslope. Gap in inner bank to ESE, worn below level of interior, with causeway across inner fosse. Interior level, slopes gradually to E.
