In pasture, on terrace of level ground facing W onto Shanakill river. Circular area (35.2m SSE-NNW) defined by inner bank (H 2m), earthen but topped with large stones; well-preserved V-shaped intervening fosse; earthen outer bank (ext. H c. 1.3m); outer fosse (D 0.5m) SE->W. Gap in banks to SE, with causeway. Outer bank incorporated into field fence W->E. Banks, outer fosse and part of interior overgrown. Interior level; possible souterrain (CO046-01702-) inside bank to N.
