In pasture on S-facing slope c. 70m N of Coom river; facing ringfort (CO043-012---) to S of river. Roughly circular area (5.8m N-S; 7.3m E-W) defined by earth and stone bank (H 1.3m), giving appearance of hollowed mound. Interior slightly below ground level; scattered with four large prostrate stones (L 0.48m - 1.2m). Upright stone (H 0.88m) faces bank to N. Marked 'Souterrain' on 1935 OS 6-inch map.
