What is recorded here

In pasture, on NNE-facing slope. Sub-rectangular area (11.5m E-W; 9.1m N-S) enclosed by low earthen bank with some stones (max. ext. H 0.8m). Break at W end of S bank (Wth 3m); possible entrance at NW corner (Wth 2m). Small mound in W half of interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
