In boggy ground. Grass-covered horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L6m; Wth 8m; H 0.6m); opening faces N. Second fulacht fiadh (9768) immediately to N and third (9769) immediately to NE; fourth fulacht fiadh (9770) to SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
