In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (51.5m N-S; 50.5m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.7m) with external fosse (D 1.2m) and counterscarp bank (H 0.8m). Bank stone-faced externally to SE; gap (Wth 6m) to WSW. Roadway running N-S truncates fosse and counterscarp bank on W side. Souterrain (8855) in interior.
