In pasture, c. 100m W of Abbey stream. Square area (40.1m E-W; 39m N-S) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H1.4m) levelled along S half of E side and on S side. Outer bank (H 2.1m) levelled along W half of S side. Stone-facing noted to NNE on outer faceof second bank. Interior appears level; S portion wet and marshy; drain running E-W crosses S half of interior. Enclosure heavily overgrown with bushes and briars.
