On W side of road. Random-rubble walls (10m E-W; c. 7m N-S) retain earthen core. Overgrown front elevation (H 3m) faces E; lintelled corbelled recess (H 1.3m; Wth 2m) filled with dumped material. Infilled funnel (diam. c. 2m). Ramp to rear. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
