In pasture, on N-facing slope, overlooking Blackwater River valley. Depicted as hachured D-shaped enclosure (straight side c. 30m E-W; projecting c. 25m to S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; circular area (diam. 24m) defined by low rise all round except to N where field boundary exists. Land falls away steeply to N of site.
