In pasture, on SW-facing slope, on NE side of stream. D-shaped area (straight side c. 90m NW-SE; projecting c. 90m to NE) defined by stream on straight SW side and by earthen bank elsewhere. Bank heavily overgrown with bushes, stone faced in parts; break in bank to ESE; small low stone-lined opening at base of bank to E. Enclosure cut by road on NW-SE axis c. 30m to NE of stream. Ringfort (12716) named 'Kilcullin Fort', burial ground (14141), souterrain (13296) and standing stone (10086) within NE half of enclosure.
