In the NE quadrant of a rath (CO041-037---). This souterrain was discovered in 1999 when a roof lintel was displaced during ploughing. The resulting opening revealed an oval stone-lined chamber (4m N-S; 1.3m E-W; H 1.25m) with a lintelled roof. The walls were of rubble and incline inwards towards the top. A lintelled opening (Wth 0.4m; H 0.3m), 0.8m above the floor in the NE corner of the chamber, is probably the original entrance passage (min. L 3m).
