Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) with solid line respecting site to N, E and S and hachured fosse to W on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Permission to visit site refused. Upstanding circular enclosure visible in aerial photograph taken 03-07-1975 (GSIAP, W 388). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 542) as double-ramparted fort in F. Turner's (banks: each c. 5ft H; fosse: Wth 9ft; D 5ft). Souterrain (CO041-01902-) in interior and another (CO041-181---) on N perimeter of fort.
