What is recorded here

In rough pasture, on NW-facing slope. Stone (H 1m; 0.75m x 2.05m) is irregular in plan and shape, leaning heavily to S; long axis NW-SE. Second standing stone (10003) c. 50m to ENE; third stone (10004) c. 65m to SE in adjacent field. Bowman (1934, 607) recorded group of four standing stones in J. Lyons. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
