Built against natural slope on W side of road. Random-rubble front wall retains earthen core, side walls of loose stones (L 13.5m E-W) collapsing. Partially collapsed front elevation (H c. 4m; Wth 6.5m) faces W; lintelled recess (H 2.15m; Wth 2m; D 2.3m) with sloping slabs at rear. Top of kiln overgrown, circular funnel (diam. 1.9m) evident.
