In NW quadrant of ringfort (CO040-03301-). Opening reveals stone-lined lintelled passage (Wth 0.98m; H 0.7m) extending NNW, visible for distance of c. 3m. Three depressions inside bank to NW probably indicate souterrain collapse. According to local information, at least two stone-lined chambers, roofed with lintels, were explored in the past. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
