On N-facing elevated site, overlooking Glen River to N. Depicted as hachured roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1904 OS 6-inch map, defined by arc of two hachured banks SE->N and by straight-sided cliff face to NE above river valley; shown similarly on 1937 OS 6-inch map except for central enclosure which is shown as a platform. Gravel quarrying has destroyed site; no visible remains survive. 'Part of the bank, some of the ditch and a run of the counter-scarp bank on the uphill or south side...' was noted during investigation of souterrain (CO040-02702-) uncovered during quarrying (O'Kelly and Shee 1968, 46).
