Road bridge (Wth 7.44m; long axis E-W) over Rathcool River. Random ashlar sandstone construction with rock-faced finish. Three segmental arches with dressed limestone voussoirs. Bluntly pointed shallow cutwaters of cut limestone on both sides; piered abutments at either end. Roadside section of parapet wall faced with coursed ashlar limestone. Bridge of early-/mid-19th-century appearance. Stone paving in river to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
