Bowman (1934, 34) recorded holy well on Thomas Murphy's land; 'This is called Tobar na Suil (well of the eyes). Rounds, which were paid in May, have long since been discontinued. This well was dedicated to St Latherian.' Also recorded by Broker (1937, 34), who noted stream rising from well and flowing between 'Abha na gCealluir and Clarach an tSleibhe' (Claraghatlea North) into the Finnow River. Exact location not known.
