Discovered during the excavation of ringfort (8468) in 1984. O Donnabháin (forthcoming) notes 'fragments of an Early Bronze Age encrusted urn and amber pommel mount were found in the fill of the construction trench [of the souterrain (8912)] and presumably represents a burial that was disturbed during the building of the souterrain'.
