Road bridge (Wth 6.5m; long axis NE-SW) over River Blackwater, on county boundary with Kerry. Three semicircular arches (span c. 6.7m) with arch to E slightly lower than rest; rough voussoirs. Pointed cutwaters, upstream cutwater to NE replaced by concrete. Drain holes at base of parapet wall, concrete coping. Bridge of late-18th/19th-century appearance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
