In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Slightly raised, circular area (33.2m E-W; 32.5m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.8m); line of external fosse visible as band of darker vegetation. Possible second bank survives W->NNW, stone-faced and incorporated into field fence system; according to Broker (1937, 43) enclosure had 'double fence'. Gaps in bank to N, ESE and SW. Possible souterrain (8951) in interior.
