In level pasture. Circular area (35m N-S; 34m E-W), planted with pine, enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.9m); short section of external fosse survives to NW (D 0.4m); longer section SSE->W (D 0.75m) enclosed by stone-built field fence. Laneway skirts bank W->NW. Interior saucer-shaped; large stone (1m x 0.5m x 0.2m) lying at centre; possible souterrain (9061) off-centre to W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
